Beaches & Planes

I've been making sure to take more pictures of the simple things here, especially at "our" beach. While life has been full of school lately, I've been making sure to get some beach time in. I had almost the entire beach to myself a few mornings ago. The waves were pretty intense, next time I think I'll bring my underwater housing and try to get some wave angles from in the water. I have also been to watch the big planes land a few times in the last couple weeks and actually taking pictures (make sure to click the link in the KLM picture caption below; not my video, but crazy!).

School is wrapping up for the semester. Owen has finals on Tuesday and I have another week after that. We are both looking forward to a much needed break. No big plans yet, but maybe a spontaneous trip to another island, we'll see. Then my parents are on island for a week, looking forward to their visit and exploring Anguilla with them. Anyway we'll update again after finals and break with hopefully more exciting stuff. Hope everyone is doing well, we love hearing from people ;)

Lots of boats still in a few weeks ago
love sunset light and colors
need to make sure to see a few more of these

before taking off, security has been trying to keep people off the fence since this happened

  1. Jamie and Owen-

We love the new beach pictures!!! The color setting you are using is capturing some terrific shots. Just imagine how they'll look up on your walls in the future, wherever you are. That plane incident is crazy. We never realized just how close some people were getting to the actual aircraft itself.

We're looking forward to getting there soon and enjoying some more island adventures "the Grove way."

P.S. Dad says you could have some cupcakes ready for his arrival...

    Love
